Travelling an adage says, is an expert. Such is the situation when International School, Osogbo organising a trip to Dubai on 14th May, 2016. The excitement which lasted for a week provided a platform for the school to further enrich the repertoire of knowledge of the students. The event will not easily erase from the memory of those who had the privilege of embarking on the trip even as the money spent becomes insignificant in the face of the magnitude of the benefits achieved. Dubai is known for several world-famous and record-breaking fantastic and wonderful sites. The country is home to the world’s tallest tower and an island in the shape of a palm tree. It also has an impressive skyline.

Among the places of interest visited are the Dubai Centre Shopping Mall, the Heritage Village, The Emirate Palace, the Desert Safari, Dhow Dinner Cruise, the Dubai Museum, the Emirate Park Zoo, and the third largest Mosque in the world. Apart from the wonderful sights, the country also has a rich culture that borders on honesty, peace and tranquility. According to those who made the journey, there was order everywhere as everything works perfectly. There were no power outages; no noise pollution on the streets, the city was neat and tidy. One of the attributes that Nigeria highly desires today is honesty; our leaders at all levels of governance need honesty. This singular virtue should also be desired by the bureaucrats, the professionals, the adults as well as the youths for Nigeria to move forward.
